Nurture and Care

Duties:

1. To assist pastoral ministries.

2. To monitor, with the intent of love and care, the general well-being of families and individuals of the congregation.

3. To develop and administer ongoing programs of contact with and care for families and individuals of the congregation.

4. To oversee visitation of the sick, shut-in and bereaved of the congregation.

5. To assist the ministers in such anointing services as may be requested and to officiate in anointing services in the ministers' absence.

6. To develop policies and coordinate programs of spiritual counsel and to assist in ministering to candidates for baptism and church membership.

7. To assist in the ongoing spiritual growth of church members.

8. To assist in reconciliation and restoration among members of the congregation.

9. To be responsible for the development and administration of the Church's nurture and care budget.

10. To be responsible for the pulpit supply in the absence of a minister.
