Infant - Three Year Olds

Infant Room

Trust your baby to the compassionate caregivers at Caring Corner.  Our infant staff provide a loving, warm environment for your infant in their first year of development. 

Our teachers interact with your child on many levels throughout the day.  Whether its reading, singing, cuddling or playing peekaboo, your child will be in warm, nurturing environment that fosters their cognitive, social, emotional and physical development.  Our cozy infant room is designed to provide quality care and has ample space and material for your little one to learn and explore the world around them.  Babies will have a daily routine that is customized to their needs.

Toddler Room

Once your child starts to get mobile they are transitioned to our larger Toddler Room.  Children ages 12-24 months get to play and grow in a space where they can explore their world with appropriately challenging materials, safe equipment for pulling up and learning to walk, along with cleared floor space designated for free and active movement.

The love of books and stories will be fostered by classroom teachers. Weekly, thematic lessons are planned to incorporate music,  sensory activities and cognitive skill activities to ensure each child achieves success but never feels stressed.

Twos Room

Our two year old classroom is designed to provide your two year old child with many choices throughout the day, balancing daily schedules to allow for small group time, child-directed and teacher-directed activities. While children are encouraged to participate in group activities, they are given the flexibility to learn at their own pace and in ways that are best for them.

Children have the flexibility for choices, with learning centers such as dramatic play, manipulatives, large motor/blocks, art and a reading corner, clearly identified to help children transition with ease throughout their day.  The daily routine will be consistent and predictable. Organized short periods for reading, music, language development activities, arts and crafts, manipulatives will be offered, but children at this age are merely encouraged to participate not required to participate.  Open shelves will allow toddlers to be independent while selecting what interests them. 

Uniquely, a bathroom for supporting potty training efforts is located inside the twos/threes classroom. The potties are the perfect size for little beginners. Teachers will do all they can to support home efforts of potty training.

Threes Room

Threes preschool classrooms are designed to provide your 3  year old child with many choices throughout the day, balancing daily schedules to allow for small group time, child-directed and teacher-directed activities. While children are encouraged to participate in group activities, they are given the flexibility to learn at their own pace and in ways that are best for them.
