Our Mission
Journey Sports exists to disciple the next generation through the game of basketball by focusing on three foundational pillars: Equip, Empower, and Elevate.
These pillars guide our approach to spiritual, personal, and athletic development, ensuring that every athlete is givne the opportunity to grow in both character and skill, no matter what their starting point is.
Competitive Sports Environment
Journey Sports offers developmental competitive games. The game format, rules of game play and substitution system which are unique to Journey Sports are designed to provide the best sports experience for every child and at every level.
Players will learn skills that will help them move to the next level of play, if so inclined.
Volunteer with Journey Sports
Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Referees, Game announcers, half-time entertainment, concessions, evaluation nights and celebration events all run on a volunteer-basis.
No previous experience necessary. Training and materials provided.

CANCELLATION POLICY

On Game days, a decision will be made by 6:00 AM to hold games in the event of wintry weather.
For practices: We leave it up to the digression of the parents if they want to come out, if we haven't already cancelled.  No one should feel obligated to attend a practice if they don't feel comfortable.  The coach also has the right to cancel if we don't.  We don't follow the schools.
A notice will be sent to all coaches and posted to KCRG in the event of a cancellation.
