RYE 2025! 
November 7-9, 2025

RYE 25’ will be here before we know it and we want you to prayerfully consider attending the Region Youth Event this November! There will be worship, small groups, activities, laughing, games of course and lots of fun! Considering all that is going on in our world, students are struggling and this weekend is an opportunity for them to connect and recharge. Our theme is Salt &Light, Bitter & Bright.
 
Our speaker this year will be Lauren Parliament and worship will be led by Mark Taylor. Lauren is originally from Sioux Falls, but  currently lives in the Denver area and graduated with an MDIV degree from Denver Seminary. She is a Minister with the American Baptist Churches. Mark grew up south of Indianola and has been in ministry for 16 years, the bulk being in worship.  He’s written/recorded 2 CDs and is a published author of 2 books and has been a conference speaker.  We are excited to have both Lauren and Mark share with us for RYE.
 
RYE 2025 will be held November 7-9, 2025, at the Church on Northland (First Baptist Church-Church of the Brethren), 5200 Northland Ave NE.  The cost for attending is $65/participant.  There is early bird pricing for registrations received before October 15th.  For those registering before October 15th, the cost is only $55/participant!  This fee includes your T-shirt (indicate your shirt size on the registration form), programming, Friday night food, a meal on Saturday, and admittance to our off site activity.

Cultivating young leaders is not just about preparing the next generation for the future; it’s about empowering them to make a difference today. Christian leadership among youth is essential for building strong, resilient communities that reflect the values and teachings of Christ. When young people are encouraged to take on leadership roles, they become more invested in their faith, and their influence can inspire peers to deepen their commitment as well.
