We are hosting a Night of Worship on July 18, 2026, and we want to feature your art! Our Fellowship Hall will transform into an art gallery featuring the talent of local Christian artists.
The Theme: Inspired by Jesus's encounter at the well in John 4, we are seeking visual art that explores "Living Water"—themes of spiritual refreshment, broken barriers, and inner transformation.
Submission Details:

• Who: Open to all local artists (amateurs, professionals, and hobbyists).
  Mediums: Painting, photography, sculpture, textile, and mixed media.
• Artworks must be original pieces created by the submitting artist.
  Cost: Completely free to participate.
  The Theme: Spiritual thirst, grace at the well, and eternal refreshment.
  Location: The Church on Northland Fellowship Hall
  Submission Deadline: Monday, July 13,  2026
  Art Drop-off before: Monday, July 13, 2026  at 3:00 PM to The Church on Northland, 5200 Northland Ave NE Cedar Rapids, IA 52402
• Exhibit Dates: Thursday, July 16-Monday August 3, 2026 (The Church on Northland Fellowship Hall)

By participating in this project, you are agreeing to allow The Church on Northland to photograph your work for promotional means. At the end of the show, your work will be returned to you and is yours to keep.
Please be aware that The Church on Northland is not responsible for damage to your art. We have never had a problem of this nature, but it is appropriate that we share this information. You may insure your own art if you wish.

We welcome the opportunity to pray for you!  Are you aware of someone who is in need of special prayer, a visit, or a definite word of encouragement?  Click button below.  We'll make sure the request reaches the appropriate pastoral staff members, is included on our prayer list (if you deem it necessary), and is covered in prayer.

Pastoral Visits

Pastor visits are available to those experiencing physical, emotional or spiritual needs. We provide a ministry of presence and comfort to those who are home bound, in the hospital or experiencing crisis. 

In addition, the pastor is available to meet and pray with those who have questions about faith,  celebrating births, dedications or those interested in committing their  life to Christ through believers baptism.
