The Church On Northland (First Baptist Church - Church of the Brethren) is proudly affiliated with and supports both the American Baptist Churches and the Church of the Brethren denominations.
Loving God. Loving People. Loving Life.
Our Vision
Our vision is to be committed to being a dynamic, diverse, loving community of followers of Jesus Christ, driven by the Holy Spirit to gather and purposefully connect, nurture, empower, and send forth disciples into our neighborhoods, our communities, our nation, and our world.
Our Purpose
The purpose of the Church On Northland (FBC-COB) shall be the advancement of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. It shall seek to attain this end through Christian education, the public worship of God, missionary endeavor (local, national, and international), consistent Christian living by its members, the preaching of the Gospel, and personal evangelism.
Our Mission
(from Matthew 28:19-20)
To "make disciples of all nations..."
To "baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit..."
To "teach them to do everything [Jesus] has commanded."
