RYE 23’ will give middle and high school students a chance to learn about God, salvation, faith while using an unconventional source—board games.  There will be worship, small groups, activities, laughing, games of course and lots of fun! Considering all that is going on in our world, students are struggling and this weekend is an opportunity for them to connect and recharge.
 
Our speaker this year will be Rev. Emily Beltrame and worship will be led by Mark Taylor.
Emily is a campus Pastor at Lutheran Church of Hope in Ankeny. Prior to this position, she was a minister of families, youth and children at First Baptist Church of Greater Des Moines. We are excited to have Emily back for the weekend to share with us! Mark grew up south of Indianola has been in ministry for 16 years the bulk being in worship.  He’s written/recorded 2 CDs and is a published author of 2 books and has been a conference speaker.  We are excited to have both Emily and Mark share with us for RYE.
 
RYE 2024 will be held October 25-27, 2024, at the Church on Northland (First Baptist Church-Church of the Brethren), 5200 Northland Ave NE.  The cost for attending is $60/participant.  There is early bird pricing for registrations received before October 11th.  For those registering before October 11, the cost is only $55/participant!  This fee includes your T-shirt (indicate your shirt size on the registration form), programming, Friday night food, a meal on Saturday, and admittance to our off site activity.
 
Registrations and fees need to be received by October 11, 2024 in order to ensure a t-shirt.
